North Carolina Paralegal CLE Requirements Overview
North Carolina Certified Paralegals are required to complete 6 credit hours of CLE to maintain certification. For more information regarding NC certified paralegal requirements, please visit here.
North Carolina Paralegals must complete 6 credit hours (including at least 1 in Ethics & Professionalism)
Paralegals can fulfill their NC CLE Requirements by attending CLE classes that have been approved by the North Carolina State Bar. Some approved formats include:

North Carolina Certified Paralegals have to re-certify every year, either by January 1 or July 1. The State Bar website has a search feature to help you look up when you are due to re-certify.
Reporting: North Carolina certified paralegals are required to submit a copy of their certificates of attendance to The North Carolina State Bar Board of Paralegal Certification Application for Recertification.
