Texas Newly Admitted CLE Requirements At a Glance
Total Credits: 15 credit hours

4 of those credits must be obtained by taking the Justice James A. Baker Guide to Ethics and Professionalism in Texas course.
CLE Deadline: 24 months from the first day of the attorney's birth month, following the date of admission
Carry Over Credit: Attorneys may carry over 15 credits into the next reporting period.
Reporting: Lawline submits attendance information to Texas weekly, however, attorneys in Texas are responsible for ensuring that their attendance file is accurate and up-to-date. Attorneys may self-report their credits online using the course IDs found on their certificates of completion if they need their credits posted to their transcript sooner.
