Here’s what you need to know about Idaho CLE rules and requirements as a newly admitted attorney.

Idaho Newly Admitted CLE Requirements At A Glance
Total Credits: 30 credit hours
- 10 of those credits must be be earned by taking New Admittee Credit-Approved Credits

4 of the NAC-Approved credits must be in Idaho Substantive Law Courses on Ethics, Civil and Criminal Procedure, and Community Property.
Additional Requirements: Newly admitted attorneys who have not actively practiced law for at least three (3) years prior to admission shall complete the New Attorney Program.
Deadline for New Attorney Requirement: Within 1 year after admission to the Bar.
Carry Over Credits: Attorneys cannot carry over credits into the next reporting period.
Reporting: Deadline is February 1st to certify compliance. Lawline reports credits for Idaho.
