RJ has been a construction consultant for more than a decade, spending his career in the New York Metro area. At Lehrer Cumming, RJ guides clients—with a focus on community-building and educational institutions—through new building programs, development of large-scale capital strategies and expansions, and complex fit out projects.  He has also conducted numerous programming, preconstruction and feasibility studies for institutions, allowing them to make structured and informed investment decisions. Notable clients include Barnard College, Harlem Academy, and the Ethical Culture Fieldston School.

As a Vice President, RJ’s responsibilities including developing overall project strategies; supporting and guiding clients through the design, preconstruction, and construction phases of projects; assisting with budget and schedule tracking, team selection, contract negotiations, and oversight; coordinating logistics; identifying opportunities to reduce cost and mitigate risk; and most importantly, leading projects to a successful opening and turnover. RJ received his MBA in Finance; Entrepreneurship and Innovation from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut.
