Patrick A. Bradford, a Founding Partner of Bradford Edwards & Varlack LLP, specializes in complex business and regulatory litigation, including representing clients before the DOJ, SEC, FTC, and FINRA. He regularly appears in federal and state courts throughout the country. His expertise includes antitrust, financial services, auditor defense, regulatory investigations (including corporate, government, and FCPA investigations), corporate governance, qui tam/whistleblower, False Claims Act, employment discrimination, environmental, ethics, non-profit organizations, healthcare fraud, and class actions. Patrick regularly represents public and private companies, directors and officers, and high net worth individuals in a variety of complex commercial disputes.
Recent representations include the chief defendant in the FTC’s largest-ever real estate asset freeze in federal court (D. Md); Hercules Medical PC and its manager in an employment discrimination case federal court (S.D.N.Y.); and CNA insurance company in a medical malpractice trial in Georgia state court (Fulton Co. Ga). Mr. Bradford has served as counsel to Florida-based pharmaceutical firm Verum Curis LLC.
He teaches Antitrust Law at Fordham University School of Law as an Adjunct Professor. He has also taught Non-Profit Organizations at the Yale School of Drama’s Theater Management program as a Guest Lecturer; and Law & Technology at Columbia University as an Instructor.
He began his legal career as a federal district court law clerk to the late Hon. Clifford Scott Green (E.D. Pa.).
