Kristin Beckman is a founding member of Pipes Miles Beckman, LLC in New Orleans, Louisiana. She represents clients in high-exposure insurance bad faith and coverage litigation as well as commercial cases with breach of contract, unfair trade practices, product liability, and default issues. Her experience includes voluminous mediations and litigation following Hurricane Katrina and other mass catastrophic events, first- and third-party disputes, life insurance claims, UM waiver validity issues, and alleged improper denial of property, bodily injury, and commercial claims. Her experience also includes national trial work in products-related Multi-District Litigation. She has been recognized by national publications for her achievements in commercial and insurance litigation and routinely presents on related issues to fellow litigators and insurance claims professionals.
