Kimberly M. Parson, Esquire is the Managing Partner for the New Jersey office of Rebar Kelly, in the firm’s Saddle Brook, New Jersey office, where she represents clients in complex commercial litigation, focusing on insurance coverage, general commercial litigation, personal injury liability, legal and medical malpractice, products liability, environmental liability, and mass torts. Her practice also involves providing coverage opinions and advice to insurance carriers concerning their coverage obligations under several types of insurance policies including comprehensive general liability, group property and casualty lines, public entity insurance, specialty and professional risk, excess, contractors, automobile liability, and Workers’ Compensation and/or employer’s liability coverage.
Ms. Parson is the current Chair for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Insurance Law Section, immediate past Vice Chair, and former Secretary and Programming coordinator. She is a Fellow of the NJSBA Leadership Academy and a Preferred Member of the International Association of Professional Women.
Admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Ms. Parson is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association: (i) Insurance Law Committee; (ii) Insurance Defense Section; and (iii) Business and Commercial Litigation Committees. Ms. Parson is also a Member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Association Insurance Program.

Additionally, Ms. Parson co-authored an article on cyber insurance in a New Jersey Lawyer magazine special issue on Insurance, titled: A Hack a Day – Can Insurance Keep the Resulting Losses Away? How Insurance Protects Against Cyber Risks and How Courts Interpret Coverage.
Ms. Parson received her B.A. from New York University and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Elijah L. Miller, Superior Court of New Jersey.
She is also the recipient of several honors, including the New Jersey Assembly’s Resolution of Honor (Legal Services) and a U.S. Senate Certificate of Special Recognition.
