Jennifer Kent is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins LLP and a member of the firm’s Private Equity Finance practice group. Ms. Kent represents private equity sponsors and private and public company borrowers in secured lending and other financing transactions, including acquisition financings, asset-based loans, subscription lines of credit, and debt-restructurings. Ms. Kent specializes in cross-border financings and recently completed a 13-month secondment to Latham’s London office, where she served as the lead associate on various European-based financings and restructurings.

As part of her pro bono practice, Ms. Kent regularly advises small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs as part of the D.C. Bar Small Business Legal Assistance Program. In addition to her practice, Ms. Kent serves as a Global Chair of Latham's Black Lawyers Group.

Ms. Kent graduated magma cum laude from Boston College Law School, where she served on the editorial board of the Boston College Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
