Jason Gooberman is the owner and operator of Interlock Device of NJ (IDNJ), where he has been a key figure since 2004, taking ownership of the company in 2006. Under his leadership, IDNJ has become the exclusive distributor of Draeger’s interlock devices in New Jersey, ensuring compliance and safety across the state.

Jason’s extensive experience with Draeger includes close collaboration on the programming and technical aspects of their interlock device software, integrating seamlessly within their software and engineering ecosystems. He is certified as an operator on the Draeger Alcotest 7510 and has undergone multiple Draeger-initiated training sessions on interlock device installation and service.

Before joining IDNJ, Jason served as a state representative for Oxford House Inc., a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, that provides housing for individuals recovering from substance abuse disorders. His background in both non-profit and business sectors underscores his commitment to helping individuals navigate the challenges associated with substance abuse, with a strong emphasis on public safety and compliance.
