Attorney Havilah Lilly worked at the Adams County District Attorney’s office in Brighton and at the Weld County District Attorney’s office in Greeley during law school. She quickly became a successful litigator and was trusted to litigate motions hearings and jury trials as a first chair.

Upon graduation from law school, Havilah worked as a law clerk for former Chief Judge Maria E. Berkenkotter in Boulder County. She researched and wrote orders for the court and worked in the Adult Integrated Drug Court as a support for the former Chief Judge. After her clerkship, she went on to the Weld County District Attorney’s office to serve as a prosecutor. She quickly moved up the ranks and litigated a number of high-profile cases. Havilah was never afraid to try a case to a jury and has litigated numerous trials during her time at the DA’s office
