Fran Griesing has handled high stakes litigation, alternate dispute resolution and employment matters for over 40 years. Fran started her career at a Wall Street firm and worked at BigLaw firms in New York and Philadelphia for over 25 years. Fran also served as Litigation Chair for the City of Philadelphia under Mayor Edward Rendell, former Governor of Pennsylvania. At the City, Fran oversaw a diverse team of 75 trial lawyers and attendant professional staff often working under intense public scrutiny. In 2010, she launched her firm to create an environment where all lawyers could reach their full potential as they defined it. Under her leadership, the firm represented Fortune 500 clients, privately held businesses, nonprofit organizations and individual executives and professionals. She is committed to providing topnotch service, personal responsiveness and economical representation. An avid public speaker and published author, Fran has taught law and business students, as well as presenting courses for practicing lawyers and judges focusing on litigation and ADR, employment, ethics, professional development and law firm management. She also teaches legal and ethics topics for accountants, financial professionals and business consultants. Fran writes a quarterly column for The Legal Intelligencer, an ALM publication, on ADR. She is a contributor to two American Bar Association books, The Road to Independence 101 Women's Journeys to Starting Their Own Law Firms and Her Story: The Resilient Woman Lawyer's Guide to Conquering Obstacles, Book 2. As she approaches her 45th year of practice, Fran has transitioned to a solo practice allowing her to focus more time on professional and personal passions. Fran applies her litigation and ADR experience principally to serving as a neutral arbitrator and mediator. She also advises entrepreneurs on reducing risk in launching and growing their business and executives and professionals transitioning to new positions. She also coaches lawyers on professional development, growing their practice and launching their own firms. Fran has received numerous accolades for her demonstrated commitment to public interest, nonprofit board service and civic engagement. When she is not working on professional matters, Fran pursues her interests in hiking, dance, and other fitness activities and cherishes her family time. She is an honors graduate of Binghamton University and The University of Pennsylvania Law School.
