Cristina Carreno joined Bramnick, Rodriguez, Grabas, Arnold & Mangan, LLC in October of 2017, following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Joseph L. Rea, J.S.C. in Middlesex County. She is currently the head of the Immigration Department at the firm. Since joining the Firm, Ms. Carreno has gained significant experience defending individuals in removal proceedings, representing individuals seeking to obtain relief from deportation, and affirmative applications to bring immigrants into the United States through family-based visas and employment visas.

Ms. Carreno also works closely with our senior attorneys in the Firm’s civil litigation practice group and criminal defense practice group. Her work includes performing legal analysis, discovery, and motion support in a wide range of matters. 

Ms. Carreno is currently the Chair of the Immigration Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, an organization focused on the interaction between United States immigration laws and other areas of law including family, criminal, and labor. She is also an active participant of the Richard J. Hughes American Inn of Court, an organization focused on civil and criminal litigation. She has been invited to speak at the Richard J. Hughes American Inn of Court, the NJAJ Annual Meadowlands Conference, and most recently the NJ State Bar Annual Convention. Ms. Carreno received her undergraduate degree in International Business from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and her juris doctorate degree from New York Law School.
