Biography

Candice Kline is a business attorney and commercial litigator with years of commercial banking and management experience before entering the legal profession. Her practical business perspective informs her legal approach and commitment to client service.

Candice focuses her practice on business disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency-related litigation, and corporate restructuring. She is a member of the Commercial Law League of America's Bankruptcy Section Executive Council and is a former director of the Turnaround Management Association's Chicago/Midwest Chapter. Her representations include investors, creditors, trustees, and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts. Her recent cases concern real estate, fraud investigations, loan transactions, fiduciary duties, contract disputes, and collections. She also has an active chapter 11 and appellate practice. Before joining the firm, Candice was a member of the restructuring practice of Sidley Austin LLP based in Chicago.

Candice holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, having started her career with the First National Bank of Chicago as a First Scholar and splits her time between Chicago and Maumee, Ohio. She is an Ohio native.
