Amanda advises employers in a wide variety of industries, including in the non-profit, health care, and financial services sectors. Amanda routinely provides practical and strategic advice to employers on labor and employment topics such as onboarding, background checks, employee terminations and discipline, performance management, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, wage and hour laws, worker classifications, compliance with the National Labor Relations Act, and managing internal investigations. Amanda also monitors developments in federal, state, and local employment law and counsels clients on maintaining compliance in a constantly evolving legal landscape. Amanda routinely drafts and revises employment documents such as employee handbooks and policies, offer letters, and separation agreements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local law, as well as best practices. Amanda has experience providing anti-harassment training to employees and supervisors and has trained human resource professionals on developing areas of the law.
