Steven Dyki is a 1999 graduate of DePaul University College of Law having obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University. Mr. Dyki focuses his practice on liability and insurance defense with an emphasis on accidents involving alleged violations of Labor Law sections 200, 240(1) and 241(6), traumatic brain injury, amputation and other catastrophic personal injury and property damage claims. He also provides insurance coverage opinions on a wide variety of claims. Prior to his current position, he was a partner at Russo & Toner, LLP and handled trials and appeals throughout New York, including New York City, Buffalo and Rochester. Mr. Dyki has given several lectures on topics including how to prepare the defense of a construction accident case, the discovery and admission of internet evidence in personal injury litigation, and risk transfer including contractual indemnification. Mr. Dyki has authored articles on construction accidents and the admission of criminal convictions in civil cases. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers’ Association, Defense Association of New York, Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, DRI – the Voice of the Defense Bar, the New York Women’s Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association. He is a member of the board of the Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York.
