Overview
Workplace Safety & Health provides knowledge about employment law and labor law necessary to understand safety and health initiatives in the workplace. Attendees will examine relevant federal and state regulations for hazard identification and risk management. This course will also explore workplace safety and health for all Americans, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).

Understand the significance of workplace safety and health as related to employment law and labor law
Identify workplace safety and health federal and state regulations
Discuss recent state mandates, which require employers to implement workplace safety and health initiatives
Historical workplace safety and health trends and the importance of continuous improvement
