Overview
For law firms, the social media landscape is fraught with ethical uncertainty, from questions about the future of Twitter, to the significance and sustainability of alternate platforms. Mindful of the ethical red flags in this evolving landscape, how can lawyers strategically navigate these unwieldy changes to build and maintain trust with the marketplace, as legal professionals and advisors?
This dynamic, 1-hour panel discussion will be among three experts coming at the topic from three unique perspectives:
Sandra Bekhor, a Toronto-based marketing strategist and coach to professional practice firms,
Garry Wise, a recognized litigator and employment lawyer in Ontario, and
Marc W. Halpert, an international LinkedIn coach/trainer/consultant.
The panel will co-present their latest views on the current events surrounding Twitter, to help attendees see the value of foresighted planning and routinely reviewing an efficient, ethical social media strategy.
Learning Objectives:
- Consider the implications of preparing to use a hybrid or successor social media platform(s) for smooth transition, mindful of legal ethics
- Suggest ways to reinvigorate a social media strategy in the face of change: your brand and your firm's
- Assess options to solidify your reputation using social media in a way that is practical and suitable for your firm
