Overview
Divorces are seldom simple processes and most often require advanced, complex legal counsel and advice. Nonetheless, all too often a potential client will walk into an attorney's office, seeking comprehensive representation only to be told by the attorney that the "process is simple," or "can't go wrong."
Both statements are patently false. While a divorce might be easy to file for, a successful divorce petition takes skill, experience and a mastery of guiding local and state principles of law. Before addressing a client's divorce request, a wise attorney has many questions to ask and many informational holes to fill. In this course, Bobby Barina, a Texas Board of Legal Specialization certified Family Law attorney, helps prepare attorneys to comprehensively represent the divorce-seeking client through a close examination of proper questioning, documentation, information gathering, cross-party notices, final decree presentation and general trial preparation.
