Overview

In the first two days of the current administration, Executive Orders were issued that weaponized the concept of diversity, equity, and inclusion and upended the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  The magnitude of the Orders is yet to be fully realized, although their impact is unquestionably widespread and far-reaching. There is an apparent misconception as to who is and will be affected by the Executive Orders.

This program will explore and analyze the perceived rationale for these Executive Orders, the responses to the Executive Orders. The Program will also explore what individuals and organizations should be thinking about and actions to minimize damage caused by the Executive Orders to ensure that the legal profession is inclusive, and all people are provided the opportunity to be successful.
