The Most Common Legal Issues for Non-Profit Organizations: From Formation to Dissolution

Non-profit organizations have unique rules and taxation that set them apart from the average for-profit business. With these differences, the legal issues that non-profit organizations face typically differ from for-profit businesses, as well. 

This course will outline the legal issues and questions that most commonly arise through the lifespan of a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. The Course will touch on issues and best practices related to formation and exemption, board of director conflicts, asset transfers, and dissolution.
