Overview
Legal practice often rewards critical thinking and risk avoidance. Without intentional self-awareness, however, these traits can contribute to chronic stress, conflict, and diminished effectiveness. This CLE program explores how mindset and perspective shape the way lawyers interpret challenges, communicate with clients and colleagues, and navigate ethical responsibilities.
Drawing on principles from psychology, mindfulness, and professional ethics, the program examines how fixed and growth mindsets influence attorney behavior and decision-making. Attendees will identify practical tools to shift unhelpful thought patterns, build resilience, and stay grounded in high-pressure environments. Through self-reflection, mindset training, and perspective-taking exercises, this course empowers attorneys to improve professional judgment, reduce reactivity, and enhance both well-being and performance.
