Overview

The Supreme Court issued two important decisions this past term involving the Fourth Amendment.  These two landmark cases – Torres v. Madrid and Lange v. California – reflect the most recent changes to evolving Fourth Amendment standards. This program is led by Ethan P. Fallon, an attorney for the Petitioner in Torres.

This program will examine these two decisions as well as the practical implications of the Supreme Court's new Fourth Amendment rules stemming from these cases. The program will also identify and discuss Fourth Amendment issues percolating in the lower courts and potential legal challenges ready for Supreme Court review.
