Overview
This course will explore the ethical responsibilities for lawyers when representing clients who are transgender and gender non-conforming, as well as neurodiverse clients. This will include a review of different ways attorneys can respect and reflect the particular needs of these communities, so that (i) attorneys can better represent these clients and (ii) these clients can feel better represented.
This course will benefit attorneys who represent clients in these communities, and also those attorneys who represent other clients impacted by these issues - these may include corporate clients with DEI programs as well as individuals with family members in these communities.
