The Ethics of Excellence

Legal ethics runs beyond knowing and complying with the rules of confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interest. Better - and higher-in-demand - lawyers understand what clients need and then deliver high-quality, high-value work products and results.

In this course, the discussion will focus on the ethical rules that require excellence - those rules that obligate attorneys to perform with competence, communicate effectively, and serve as advisors - and will provide examples of practices that help counsel meet these duties.
