Stress and substance abuse have become hallmarks of the legal profession, leading to much professional dysfunction and personal suffering by lawyers. The effect on all aspects of the legal profession and on society has been studied at length and is alarming in its scope. This course, taught by Robert Lefevre, instructs attorneys on how to recognize signs they are suffering from stress or substance abuse and provides techniques and resources to assist them in addressing these issues.

Robert Lefevre is a partner in Morrow and Lefevre, LLC in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and practices in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration, Civil Litigation, and Trademark and Copyright Law. He is the Chair of the Lawyers Assistance Program of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Pennsylvania Chair of the National Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being, and is a Director on the Board of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers of Pennsylvania. He is 27 years sober in AA, and is an avid amateur cyclist.
