Healthcare providers are subjected to many regulatory requirements enforced by various administrative agencies, and particularly in Illinois.  

This program, taught by Polsinelli PC healthcare attorney Meredith Duncan, discusses the key issues involved in administrative agency enforcement actions and appeals in Illinois, including actions before the Illinois Department of Public Health, Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Relevant Illinois statutes, regulations, rules, and best practices will be discussed.

Meredith Duncan


Meredith Duncan is a Shareholder with Polsinelli P.C. in their healthcare department. She pairs her background as a litigator with her regulatory expertise to guide healthcare providers through difficult and contested matters. Meredith focuses her practice on compliance, regulatory and operational matters for long term care providers in Illinois and nationwide.

She uses her skills and experience to avoid undesirable outcomes and, if necessary, litigate before administrative agencies and the US court system.  She regularly represents individual health care providers before their state licensure agencies during inquiries, investigations and disciplinary matters.
