Overview

This course, presented by Adam Laughton, will walk attorneys, physicians, and managers through the process of an acquisition of a medical practice, facility, or healthcare business by private equity.  We will discuss steps to prepare sellers for the transaction and steps that sellers can take to protect themselves.

We will also discuss the ongoing process of working under private equity ownership, as well as some common criticisms of increasing private equity investment in the industry, including recent regulatory steps aimed at dealing with this.
