Overview
The companies with the most successful privacy compliance programs are not the ones with the most privacy law knowledge, technical expertise, or even the steepest budget. Instead, successful privacy programs are structured for consistent, high-level execution of privacy tasks that align with legal requirements. This CLE program, taught by Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Tyler Thompson, will focus on practical considerations for running a top-notch privacy program. This program will be especially beneficial for in-house counsel in learning how to structure a privacy team, leverage outside counsel, utilize privacy frameworks, track metrics, and document requirements to comply with privacy laws.
Learning Objectives:
Identify the core principles of a successful privacy compliance program
Structure a privacy team effectively, including roles and responsibilities
Leverage outside counsel and other resources to enhance privacy compliance efforts
Explore different privacy frameworks and methodologies for implementing a privacy compliance program
Track and evaluate privacy metrics to ensure ongoing compliance
Document privacy requirements and demonstrate compliance with privacy laws and regulations

Good roadmap to start, and expanded on all topics well.
The best CLE class of the year...It was awesome.
Excellent presentation.
Really appreciated the broad and practical approach taken in this training. It was helpful in pulling together some other data privacy trainings I have attended in terms of how those obligations work/come together in the context of an organisation.
