The future of aviation safety is currently pending before the Supreme Court. This course, presented by seasoned aviation law practitioner Justin T. Green of Kreindler & Kreindler LLP, will explore the issue of aviation preemption and will discuss in detail Avco Corp. v. Sikkelee, which has the potential to determine that all aviation products liability claims are preempted by the Federal Aviation Administration's Certification of the Aircraft at Issue. Mr. Green will also discuss the potential ramifications of this landmark case.
