This course, presented by intellectual property attorney Kirby Drake, will provide an overview of trademarks, including how to select, register, and maintain trademark protection. It will also discuss potential pitfalls that may arise in the trademark protection process, as well as issues that can become relevant when comparing products and using trademarks in advertising. The course will then discuss a number of recent court decisions relating to trademarks in the food and beverage industry.
