This program, presented by Jessica Furst Johnson and Christine Fort, will discuss the various types of nonprofits that most commonly engage in political activities, and further explore the types of political activities these groups can engage in. We will talk about applicable political activity restrictions, as well as reporting and disclosure obligations. While the course will primarily treat federal political activities, we will provide high-level information on state political activity applications.
