Overview
The practice of New Jersey residential landlord-tenant law saw many changes in 2021. These changes are largely the product of the April 2021 recommendations of the Judiciary Special Committee on Landlord-Tenant. The resulting landlord-tenant practice is dramatically different than in prior years' practice. This program, presented by Offit Kurman attorney Thomas Major, explains all of the recent changes to New Jersey residential landlord-tenant practice with an eye toward the underlying rationale for each. Practitioners viewing the program will learn the new procedures for residential landlord-tenant practice, understand the required filings and current best practices. The goal of the program is to educate viewers about efficient and effective landlord-tenant practice (for both landlords and tenants) in light of the new rules and procedures.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss the Special Committee on landlord-tenant practice, and identify problems with the prior landlord-tenant practice
Review the Special Committee's recommendations

Very precise and to the point. As an attorney for almost 30 years, I absolutely loved his last sentiment about people first and legal problems second. I wish we all as attorney's would adopt that view. Great cle.
Useful info esp as Attorney, not to sign Cert of Lease & Registration. Also to complete and efile the LL Cert and Atty Cert early on, so WOR will be good to go, if possession ordered. This was awesome for me.
