New York Labor Law Refresher

New York Labor Law can be intimidating at times, as it is quite expansive and is always evolving based upon Court Decisions. With this ever-changing legal area, it is important to be aware of all aspects of the Labor Law, exceptions, common issues associated with it, and practical concerns when litigating these cases. 

In this presentation, Mr. Marchese will discuss:

1. Labor Law Section 240, when it may or may not apply, property parties to assert such claims against, and potential defenses against same. 
2. Labor Law Section 241, when it may or may not apply, potential defenses against same, and Industrial Code violations. 
3. Labor Law Section 200 and negligence claims, potential defenses against same, common issues associated, and practical concerns. 
4. Third-party claims, when such claims may be available or limited. 
5. Recent case law Decisions pertaining to New York State Labor Law.
