Overview
Environmental Justice, on federal and state levels, focuses on environmental and public health stressors in overburdened communities. This program will discuss aspects of New Jersey environmental justice legislation. This program will benefit environmental lawyers, contractors, industrial representatives, and commercial business operators.

Review the significance of the Environmental Justice Act (N.J.S.A. 13:1D-157)
Identify which facilities are sources of pollution in overburdened communities; identify corresponding permits and approvals
Discuss the Environmental Justice Mapping Tool
