Overview
This course, presented by Hope Anderson, reviews the up-to-the-minute state of AI regulation and policy in the U.S., with a particular focus on Generative AI. Discussions include how AI is being defined in different jurisdictions; existing and proposed US legislation at the national and state levels; approaches to AI by the FTC, EEOC, CFPG, and DOJ; biometrics and AR risks; legal issues involved in training data sets; AI performance liabilities, such as hallucinations and bias; and IP issues around AI output; attorney-client privilege. Ms. Anderson will also discuss high-level developments on AI in the EU.
