Overview
This course, presented by real estate attorney Erica Crohn Minchella, will review the challenges raised for real estate contracts after the Covid lockdown was declared, the multiple bid offers, the bids over the asking price, and the requirements to address problems with the property that didn't come through inspections or appraise at the contract price.
The discussion will include the expected rise in foreclosures, short sales, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, consent foreclosures, REO sales, and the impact on the selling cycle from defaulted mortgages.
We will also examine various options for distressed homeowners.
