Overview
Generative AI, which encompasses, ChatGPT, Bard, Dall-E, and a host of other similar applications has hit the American industry like a hammer on a thin sheet of plexiglass. It has been hailed as one of the biggest disruptors since the light bulb, and those who do not understand its merits are very fearful while those who appreciate its abilities may be a tad too cavalier in its uses. And lawyers are in both camps. However, rules of professional conduct require lawyers to use technology to competently represent our clients. Therefore, it is incumbent upon attorneys to understand when and how to use Generative AI.
This program, presented by Max Elliott of The Law Offices of Max Elliott, Ltd., founder of the Chicago-based firm that focuses on estate planning and wealth preservation for the LGBTQ+ community, women, and small business owners, will engage in a high-level discussion about the use of Generative AI, specifically ChatGPT, in serving estate planning clients and the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of technology in the legal field.
