Overview
This final session of the curriculum, presented by Pepper Hamilton Partner Jim Rosener, along with Of Counsel Simeon Gold, includes a detailed examination of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other global compliance issues that have an impact on cross border deal making.
Learning Objectives:
I. Summarize a brief history/origins of the FCPA, the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, the UK Bribery Act, and other international anti-corruption conventions.
II. Drill down on the global compliance issues that impact on cross border deal making:
- Provide an overview of the FCPA

- Describe the high cost of FCPA compliance in cross border deal making
