This seminar, presented by Katherine Rehan, will address what landlords must include in their lease agreements, how the landlord must comply with local ordinances, a tenant's rights under the ordinances, and defaults and evictions in lease agreements. In addition, this seminar will address the stricter penalties that are imposed in the City of Chicago's notoriously tenant-friendly Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance, and how it differs from the Illinois Landlord Tenant Act. It is imperative that both landlords and tenants understand the law as it pertains to their lease agreement to prevent jeopardizing the landlord-tenant
