Overview

In a field that has historically been male-dominated, a shift towards gender inclusivity has been slow but existent. There is an innate responsibility on the part of male colleagues to be effective allies to their non-male counterparts in order to continue this shift. This session, presented by Lloyd Freeman of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Joel Stern, CEO of NAMWOLF, and Raymond Williams of DLA Piper discusses allyship and the role of men in the growth of inclusive culture within the legal field.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the state of law firm culture and the role of men in shifting that culture

  2. Identify effective methods of allyship in order to better support female colleagues

  3. Gain the tools to advocate for colleagues and foster a more inclusive work culture
