Overview
The past several years have been challenging for those advising and guiding condominiums and homeowners associations. From the collapse of the condominium buildings at Champlain Towers in Florida to assaults of volunteer board members and property managers, associations face numerous and significant legal challenges if their associations are not run properly.
In light of these recent developments, Lindsey Wrubel, Attorney at EQUES Law Group, will discuss recent case law and updates concerning failure to properly make repairs by the association, fair housing disputes, the role of 2016 amendments in responding to neighbor disputes, the impact of continued stay at home working conditions related to the neighbor to neighbor disputes, and safety issues concerning the well-being of employees, management, and residents.
