Overview
One of the most recognizable uses of artificial intelligence is the chatbot. We talk to chatbots on the phone, we interact with chatbots in "chats" on the internet, and we ask Alexa or Siri questions. The use of these chatbots is endless. And with the growth of AI, our interactions with them will become more complex. For instance, video game companies are incorporating chatbots into video games, allowing gamers to interact with Non-Player Characters. These are the next steps to the creation of the metaverse.
This program, presented by Nerissa Coyle McGinn, will discuss some of the legal risks associated with artificial intelligence, specifically chatbots, and how to mitigate these risks.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss IP risks associated with Artificial Intelligence
- Review general legal risks associated with chatbots
- Identify disclaimers needed for the use of chatbots

The best AI-related CLE I’ve listened to. I really enjoyed this. Great use of video and other real life examples.
I almost didn't listen to this program, but I'm glad I dd. One of the best courses I've viewed on LawLine in the AI arena. Very informative, superb use of examples which included audiovisual and visual props, on point, very welcome guidelines and suggestions for best practices - and finally, it captured and kept my interest. A course that delivered more than it promised. 10+
