As social media and emerging technologies become increasingly important for legal marketing and client services, many lawyers are creating a social media presence to reach potential clients and demonstrate their knowledge of the law. There are many strategies attorneys can use to promote themselves effectively and reach a broad audience. However, in doing so, attorneys need to be conscious of the ethical rules regarding attorney advertising and solicitation and how those rules are applied to social media platforms.
In this presentation, Ms. Vaz and Mr. Herd will provide an overview of the social media platforms attorneys can use and effective strategies to promote knowledge and skills without running afoul of ethical rules.

Developing engaging and relevant content for posts
Using AI to help generate content ideas
Relevant attorney advertising and solicitation rules
