Over 44 million Americans collectively hold nearly $1.5 trillion in student loan debt. If you are a debt relief attorney, chances are your client base is burdened with student debt. More and more borrowers faced with this issue are seeking legal counsel.
This course, presented by bankruptcy attorney Natalie Jean-Baptiste, will explore ways to remediate defaulted student loans, the various repayment programs available, and the eligibility requirements and application process for loan forgiveness.
Natalie Jean-Baptiste is a solo practitioner at Law Office of Natalie Jean-Baptiste, P.C., in Uniondale, New York, where she focuses primarily on consumer bankruptcy and student loan law. She is especially dedicated to assisting student loan borrowers in financial distress and founded a student loan counseling service to empower student loan debtors with the information and tools they need to manage their debt. Prior to launching her own practice, Natalie worked for many years in the music industry where she handled various contracts for superstar acts like Alicia Keys & Janet Jackson. She is a member of National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Ms. Jean-Baptiste earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University, where she majored in Communication and Media Studies and minored in Business Administration, and her J.D. from New York Law School.
