Form I-9: Keeping Your Client Compliant

In this program, immigration attorneys David Berlin and David Spaulding will explore Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification compliance matters in-depth, providing strategies for identifying and mitigating regulatory enforcement risks without increasing the risk of discrimination suits.

All U.S. employers are required to document the identity and work authorization of their employees. Federal government enforcement of the underlying regulations can lead to significant business disruption, fines, and personal risk to executives and managers.  However, poorly designed or executed remediation invites discrimination lawsuits and regulatory enforcement.
