Overview
In this program, the panelists will address privacy considerations in the fashion industry. The fashion industry tends to have consumers that desire access to their goods and services from all over the world. Thus, fashion entities are often subject to several privacy regulations. The program will include a discussion as to whether an entity is subject to these privacy regulations which often depend on the nature of a product or service and the location of the desired data subjects. Panelists will also review an amalgamation of state, federal and international statutes.

- Identify critical issues within Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, the Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and the Children Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- Discuss the applicability, requirements, and general impact of the European Nation's General Data Protection Regulation, also known as GDPR
- Discuss the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) along with the amendments of the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)
- Review recent case law developments in these areas and discuss the potential impact on the fashion industry
