Gender inequality is still rife in the legal profession, with female underrepresentation even more pronounced in the courtroom, FINRA arbitration forum, general counsel positions, and among the expert witness and mediator ranks. This course will discuss these gender disparity issues, including the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on women and gender equality, and explore potential solutions.

Ms. Turiano focuses her practice in securities litigation and regulatory matters as well as employment law. She also serves as the website editor for the Women's Advocate Committee of the American Bar Association. Mr. Plant is a Partner at Lax & Neville LLP.
