Overview
This program will discuss the minimum standard of protections EU member states must provide to whistleblowers who report breaches of EU law, by virtue of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 on the Protection of Persons Who Report Breaches of Union Law (the "Whistleblowing Directive").
In addition, the program will consider the extent to which EU member states have implemented the Whistleblowing Directive to date, and compare the EU's protections against those already afforded to whistleblowers under U.K. law.
