Lawyers operate in an environment that is distinguishable from most other professional practice areas. In this course, Mr. Lennon discusses the interaction of various laws, regulations, and cases which govern the professional conduct of lawyers. He will review recent scandals and specific cases that have tested ethical boundaries in the legal profession. As a licensed attorney and accountant, this course will also touch upon ethical issues that are unique to tax practitioners. This is particularly important because all attorneys, regardless of the practice area, are likely to encounter clients with tax issues at some point in their careers.
