Overview
This program will provide insights for creating robust professional programming for the development and retention of diverse attorneys. Successful professional development should go beyond CLEs and substantive skills development. Most attorneys have the requisite "lawyering skills" to be competent attorneys - if they did not, they would not have been hired.
However, the difference between being a "competent attorney" and developing into a "successful thriving attorney" requires intentionality. But the good news is there are strategies that can get you on the road to a thriving career.
This program is designed for diverse associates, as well as persons responsible for the management of professional development programs.
Learning Objectives:
Take personal responsibility for your professional development
Make the leap from substantive skills development to leadership development skills
Connect the dots of DEI, professional development, and well-being
Build your professional development "team"
